"The dancehall reggae legend sets things off followed by a new verse from Ferg and a scene stealing closing verse from Bussa Bus. Their bars match the tracks vibe, but somehow we don’t think Migos got invited to this party thanks to an appreciation for their lyrics, though. No shots. A$AP Ferg’s debut album, Trap Lord, is in stores now. Listen to the "Shabba (Remix)" below and if you really like it, you can cop it on iTunes. "

"With their highly anticipated collaborative Lockjaw EP set to drop next week, Chet Faker and Flume have released a peek at their latest project with the music video for “Drop The Game.” Shot on a dark street corner and using street lights to cast silhouettes, the video features Brooklyn-based street dancer Storyboard P as he moves in flow with the beat and sway of the song itself, harmonising perfectly with Chet Faker’s seamless vocals and Flume’s complex instrumental composition. Check out the video above, and keep an eye out for Lockjaw, which is set to release November 26.”

What can only be described as “ballsy,” Czech artist David Černý has outdone himself again by erecting a giant purple ‘f**k you’ right in the middle of Prague’s Vltava River, across from the Prague Castle where Czech president Milos Zeman lives. The 45-year-old sculptor has made a name for himself throughout the globe for his politically motivated pieces (eg: vandalizing a tank statue at the Soviet war memorial by painting it pink!), and this time Černý’s point is just as clear.
He says the hand is purple because that color is ‘not used by any political party” and the piece is aptly titled “Fuck Off’. One can only imagine how President Zeman feels about this new addition to his city view!
Take a look at this library in Monterrey, Mexico. Designed by the team at Anagrama, the Children’s Library and Culture Center lies inside a warehouse-like building and boasts an incredibly modern design that sees neon rafters and shelves offset by angular shaped shelving and flooring.
Anagrama, while trying to come up with a concept, say the ‘asymmetrical reading platform meant to stimulate Monterrey’s mountainous topography’ and that the bookshelves are not only used as storage, but ‘serve as a dynamic space to play and learn, to fire the imagination and provide comfort while reading’.
If this doesn’t get the kids away from the computer screen and into books, I don’t know what will!
